Kuntao Silat is a demanding art which presents itself in a very adult manner. Students are expected to behave with that standard regardless of age. Training is taken seriously, because you will defend yourself like you train yourself. In this regard we have no room for lazy, or hap-hazard training styles. When it comes down to your life or your family's lives, everything needs to count.

We welcome those who would like to learn an art with "real world" strategies for the dangers that surround us all in our daily lives. Self Defense / Self Offense , know the difference.

Student & instructors alike have been accepted into this group because of a quality of character, and held to a high standard of commitment to these studies. We welcome all those of a like mindset, who have value of themselves as well as those you train with. We work hard, and train seriously ! We are teaching the DAMASOC system, a unique blend of Kuntao/Silat arts originating from the teachings of Bahati Mershant & his Tenaga Tiga System . We have the support of many great influences, Uncle Willem DeThouars, Pendekar Jim Ingram, The Suwanda Family via Herman Suwanda, Daniel Presetya to name a few. We are also a Sayoc Kali study group under Tuhon Tom Kier.
